Welcome to Fountain of Hope International. This is an organization made up of duly registered Chapters of Fountain of Hope Societies of various denominations and churches throughout Nigeria and the world at large. It is the apex organization of Fountain of Hope Societies throughout the world.

The society known then as Fountain of Hope Society started from and was inaugurated at St Anne’s Anglican Church Molete, Ibadan, Nigeria on the 21^st July 1968.The society has witnessed some changes in objective, scope of function and structure over the years. These dynamic changes led to concomitant changes in nomenclature namely: Fountain of Hope Society (1968); Fountain of Hope Society International (1983) and Fountain of Hope International (1986).

The vision of FOHI is that of a unitary concept of the body of Christ that is not dismembered by creed, culture, sectarian, differences which are at best transient, or wholesomely secondary. One of the popular hymns at FOHI gatherings captured the vision most succinctly thus:

The greatest objective of the FOHI mission is "evangelism". It is from this main objective that all other objectives are formulated. As contained in the FOHI rubric, there are seventeen of such objectives among which are the following:

1. To owe complete and absolute allegiance to our Lord Jesus Christ according to the Holy Scriptures.

2. To unite together and encourage chapters to actively participate in the spiritual and financial development of their respective churches and also to be effectively involved in the administration of their respective churches without prejudice to the recognized autonomy of chapters in their respective churches.

3. To promote, sponsor, and organize training courses, conferences, lectures, revivals, crusades, religious camps and the like for purpose of achieving true and effective evangelism.

4. To promote and assist the Youths to develop spiritually by establishing Youth Forums or Organizations of FOHI at chapters level as well as Zonal and International level.

5. To foster, promote and take active interest in charitable organizations.

The mission of the FOHI is to raise men and women for the lay ministry. Christian men and women who will mobilize all the virtues, resources, and talents copiously disposed to their persons by God for the transformation of the FOHI vision to a mission as soldiers of Christ in His vineyard.
